What is your interest in clinical trials?
I am most interested in advancement in clinical trials of Pediatric Oncology, Adult Oncology, Cardiology and Endocrine disorders.
Why do you think clinical trials are important?
Clinical trials play vital role in disease management and cure, pharmaceutical drug management, quality of life of patients, safety of mankind, and therapy management especially in vulnerable disease population. During my journey in the field of clinical research involving human participants, I have seen struggle with patients’ disease conditions, risk management, and success/failure of therapy management, from which I can conclude how important clinical trials are for human race.
What is your personal philosophy about clinical trial training specifically or mentorship in general?
I believe knowledge sharing is also knowledge gaining. In my journey of being clinical research professional I got a chance to work with some good mentors who have guided me in many of practical aspects and polished my knowledge. Clinical Trials is the field where sharing of knowledge and experience helps medical advancement as well as one’s own professional carrier.
FUN FACT: Apart from being a clinical research professional I like biking along with my lovely kids.
