BIOGRAPHY Dr. John Sapp is a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax Nova Scotia since 2002. He is a Professor of Medicine, cross-appointed to the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at Dalhousie University, where he also serves as Assistant Dean of Clinical Research for the Faculty of Medicine. He is principal investigator of the VANISH and VANISH2 trials. He has served as President of the Canadian Heart Rhythm Society and is a member of DalCREW. Clinical and research interests include methods for reducing sudden death, improving cardiac mapping, catheter ablation, cardiac arrhythmias and clinical management of ventricular arrhythmias.
