What is your interest in clinical trials?
Economic evaluations, patient reported outcomes.

Why do you think clinical trials are important?
Clinical trials stand as a cornerstone for medical progress and public welfare.

They serve as the ultimate arbiters of the efficacy and safety of new treatments, anchoring them in scientific evidence. Regulatory bodies hinge their approvals of new drugs and therapies on clinical trial data, thereby enhancing patient outcomes and setting elevated benchmarks in care. These trials fuel medical innovation, paving the way for enhanced therapies, diagnostic tools, and preventive measures. Overall, clinical trials are indispensable, ensuring that novel treatments are not only safe and effective but also truly advantageous for patients and the broader healthcare system.

What is your personal philosophy about clinical trial training specifically or mentorship in general?
From my perspective, we should consider that planning and implementing a clinical trial is a multifaceted work that includes different specialties from clinical people to health economists. Considering clinical efficiency, patient experience, and cost outcomes builds a holistic picture for decision-making and moves to the next step of accepting new health products and medications.

FUN FACT: I love hiking new trails to uncover hidden aspects of nature and always seek out the perfect spot to enjoy the melodious songs of birds.
